(Year of the Horse)
We very much welcome any parental input regarding our topics.
If any parents/carers would like to be involved, please speak to me.
Managing Sickness
To enable us to safely manage illness and keep us all safe and well, please do not bring your child to Pre-School if they display symptoms of having a temperature. If your child has a temperature, they must stay at home for 24 hours after the temperature has reduced.
If your child needs Calpol, our Policy and Procedures state that they are not well enough to attend. If your child has vomiting and/or diarrhoea, they should not attend Pre-School for 48 hours after the last episode.
Furthermore, if your child is prescribed anti-biotics by your GP, they should not attend Pre-School until 48 hours after the first dose and they are well enough to do so.
I kindly thank you for your cooperation.
Outdoor Clothing
Please could you ensure that all your child’s outdoor clothing, rucksacks and drinking bottles are clearly marked with their name.
Healthy Eating
Can I remind you that if your child stays for lunch, please do not provide any foodstuffs that contain nuts as we have children attending with severe allergies.
Development Meetings
If you would like an update on your child’s development, please contact me and I will arrange a meeting for you with your child’s Key Person.
Policies and Procedures
We have many Policies and Procedures in place that shape the way Brick by Brick is managed. A folder is available in the foyer containing all of our policies. However, if you would like copies of particular policies, please let me know.
Car Park
For safety reasons, we would kindly request that parents do not drive through the main gates to the car park. This is to keep children safe whilst they are waiting to enter the Pre-School.
Facebook Page
If you are not already a member, please do join our private Facebook page, ‘The Brick by Brick Family’ where we share lots of activities that your children take part in.
As always, I am around most mornings if you wish to discuss anything with me.
Alternatively, I can be contacted by email brickbybrickpreschool1@gmail.com
Our very warmest wishes,
Angie and the Team
